How to refine the balcony in spring: open the summer season

The next very important stage in the improvement of the balcony is waterproofing. Firstly, this procedure will protect your balcony from adverse environmental conditions. The most popular materials are materials based on bitumen, liquid rubber and polymers. You can also use roofing material, special water-repellent primers and impregnations. After waterproofing your balcony is not afraid of any rain and snow.
An important step in preparing the balcony for landscaping is insulation. It is better if you warm the floor, walls, and ceiling (it will be more reliable). As insulators use foam, foam or mineral wool.

Winter Garden. For those who can not imagine their life without plants, we suggest to elevate the balcony by placing a winter garden in it. Just imagine – in one place you will collect your favorite flowers and find yourself in a heavenly place where you can not only hone your gardening skills, but also drink coffee at a small table surrounded by fragrant aromas that are intoxicating. For arranging the winter garden, you don’t really have to do anything – buy a small wicker furniture (a table and a couple of chairs), hang the shelves and arrange the flowers. Bar. A smart idea would be a bar located on the balcony. He will not only become the decoration of the balcony, but also relieve the kitchen of excess furniture. It is advisable to place the bar counter directly in front of the window (just ask the builders to make a long and optimally wide window sill), so that while enjoying your favorite drinks you can contemplate the street panorama of the city.
